| | | | Ok I got my new bite plane last Friday. I wasn't scheduled to see my dentist until next Friday, however I was having a small problem, the front of my bite plane was a little too sharp and caused a small blister on my gum below my lip. My dentist is off on classes Thursday and Friday.
I called his office on Monday and they managed to fit me in today. My poor dentist is stumped with me. He fixed the bite plane so that it wont give me more blisters, but he will be asking his instructor tomorrow if he ever had a case like mine and if he can use my bite plane that I have OR does he need to have an entire new bite plane made!
Everytime I open and close my mouth it never goes the same way (I never knew that wasn't normal) one time only my front teeth touch and no other teeth (with or without my bite plane in it does this and this tends to be the way my mouth prefers to close) but sometimes it will close with the back teeth touching but then my upper front teeth are in front of the bottom front teeth.
I hope if I need a new bite plane that it isn't until the new year or that it's like November so that Blue Cross will still cover it. UGH I'm so frustrated as I know my dentist is. Also while he's doing his examination I'm getting pain in my TM joint and I really shouldn't be having pain there.
Anyways that is the latest and so-so greatest with me.
